Bouddi National Park
Bouddi National Park is south east of Woy Woy and encompasses the Box Head headland. Bouddi NP has numerous secluded beaches and some great surf beaches too. The park also offers fantastic coastal walking with views out from the tall headlands over Broken Bay, Woy Woy and the South Pacific Ocean. Bouddi NP also boasts one of the first marine extensions in NSW, with a 300ha protection zone out of Maitland Bay for the marine life. The mosquitoes in Bouddi NP can be fierce so it might be an idea to pack insect repellent.

Other planned events: 1080 fox baiting program
NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) will be using 1080 poison (sodium fluoroacetate) for fox control as buried baits in Bouddi National Park. The program will start on Tuesday 30 April 2019 and finish by Tuesday 25 June 2019.
Domestic pets, including dogs, are not permitted in national parks or reserves. Neighbours and visitors are reminded that 1080 poison baits are lethal to domestic pets.
All areas will have 1080 baiting signs at access points to areas where baiting is taking place. In the event of accidental poisoning, seek immediate veterinary assistance.
We suggest that working dogs be restrained to ensure they do not enter the baiting location during poisoning operations. Or, muzzle dogs if they need to work the baiting location during and after the baiting program.
This program is being carried out as part of a broader coordinated control program to reduce the impacts of foxes on wildlife. If you would like to be involved in the cooperative program, please call Greater Sydney Local Land Services on 1300 795 299.
